I am a single grandmother age 50 raising (3) minor grand-daughters on my own. I work in a restaurant as a server. I have not worked since 4-10-2011.
On 4-12-2001 all my teeth were surgically removed in the hospital operating room. I cannot go to work like this. I have a lot of customer contact including a lot of face to face contact and a lot of conversation. My job also consist of hosting and as a cashier. My appearance without teeth is just devastating. Now with no income, my small savings is gone. I have an appointment in 2 months for permanent dentures, but I can't stay off work that long and still maintain a residence for me and my grand-daughters.
I am not looking for a hand-out just a hand up. If I can find someone that can assist me with temporaries to allow me to return to work I will gladly pay you back in a short time. I just don't have the money to pay up front for the work. I have tried to obtain credit thru various agencies to have this done, but because I have been off work it is considered to be a break in employment and I have not been able to get approved for anything. I have no insurance only my grand-daughters have dental coverage. Could someone please help me. If I had teeth I could go back to my job tomorrow. PLEASE, PLEASE, I hope that there is someone who sees this and can offer assistance. Thank you very much.
