Harvard School of Dental Medicine - Stop Smoking through Exercise and Patch Research Study
Harvard School of Dental Medicine is conducting a study to test the effectiveness of home based vs. supervised exercise in addition to nicotine patch therapy for quitting smoking.
Participants can receive $75 for completing all assessments.Criteria: Women age 18-55 who have no history of:
- heart disease
- chonic skin disorder
- insulin dependent diabetes
- uncontrolled hypertension
- drug dependence
- serious psychiatric or orthopedic history
- smoke at least 5 cigarettes a day for at least a year and planning to quit in the next month
- exercising less than 3 times a week
