I have had all the dental work that my insurance covers. I need a crown to replace a front tooth that for almost 3 years has had, for lack of a better term, fake tooth built onto the remaining broken piece of the original. The discoloration and disfigured look compared to the rest of my teeth has become so overwhelmingly noticeable that I no longer smile without covering my mouth.
I am missing 5-6 teeth in the back, top and bottom with one random tooth sitting by itself. I need those teeth to chew my food. I have 8 teeth left on the bottom which creates real difficulty trying to eat.

Hi there, I have lost most of my molars, top and bottom. This is because I cannot afford to go to the dentist. However it is so bad now that I'm having difficulties eating and I'm truly scared for my health as they are getting infected all the time due to food particles stuck in what is left over. My molars have broken off so there is still some remains left over. It's gross and it hurts like crazy. I'm also getting really bad breath due to this. If you can PLEASE help me, because I don't know what other choices I have.

I am in my 60's. Went NY University dental school 1+ years ago after 5+ years of not seeing a dentist. I had x-rays, but could not afford to return. I know I need teeth scaling, fillings. I am pretty sure I have TMJ. I had a couple of teeth pulled as a child. My remaining teeth are making my mouth smaller by causing my remaining teeth to fill in the gap over the years.
I am available for research for any dental procedure that could benefit me and the research.
I live on Social Security can not afford to pay very much, if anything.
If any dentist or dental school in NYC or area can help me please respond.
