I am a 39 year old woman that has lived in Las Vegas for the past 8 years. I am a proud military wife for 14 years. My husband has had many many deployments and short notice tour's. So when he is gone, all my needs get put on back burner. My teeth has been one of them.
I have had numerous root canal and two bridges placed that cost over $10,000.00 well in a matter of two years after that service has been done. My bridge came off and both teeth were abscess and needed to be pulled. You are thinking how does that happen if nerve is gone, I have asked that many, many times. And I went to the air force dental office as part as a person to practice on. Had a root canal on a canine tooth and about 5 months ago it just broke right in half. Now very self conscience about my smile - don't want people to see missing teeth. Friends and family always say when picture are taken get Tracey side were she has teeth, it is embarrassing and depressing.
We just finished paying off the $10,000.00 of care credit and don't want to use them anymore. Especially since I was paying on teeth I no longer have. Just recently went to the Implant institute and was quote almost $35,000.00 needed to be done in work. Who can afford this. I have pain often with my mouth and very sensitive. I am very scared to have work done and have it crumble etc.
I was diagnosed with MS in 2005 and take medication for that. I'm also growing up with acne - took mult antibiotic which they all say weakened my teeth. I was also born 3 months premature, so they always say that leads to always having problems. Boy were they right!!!! Please consider my situation - I would be very very very appreciative. Thank you
